Barrels, boars and borers 森に生息する虫の中には害を及ぼす虫がいる。樹皮に穴を開け、キノコの胞子を運んで繁殖させ、立ち木を枯らす虫はとても厄介だ。

The Celts claim to have invented the barrel. Barrels were far superior to the amphora used by the Romans, and it was oaken barrels that made really long voyages possible.
